Background

Began in journalism and visual ethnography, co-founding Box 1824 and Tender Research — how people behave, not how they say they behave.

Delivery practice followed: PRINCE2, Scrum, SAFe, portfolio governance, PMO at Københavns Kommune, programme leadership at Merkle and Devoteam — leading cross-functional delivery teams, in-house and vendor, across several geographies.

Practice areas: digital transformation, artificial intelligence, programme and portfolio leadership, and technology governance. Engagements sit between strategy and delivery.

Practice through Jacob Langvad Nilsson Consultancy, typically two or three organisations at a time. Applied Futures, co-founded separately, covers AI enablement, forward-deployed AI product leadership, and leadership coaching.
