The BRIC Project aims to be the most comprehensive study of the booming, young middle-class in the four biggest emerging markets, Brazil, Russia, India and China, collectively coined as BRIC. In these four leading, emerging markets, an astonishing amount of people are rising up from poverty to a new middle class. Roughly half of this populace is under the age of 30. Here, millions of young, educated consumers stand poised to lead tomorrow’s markets. As the booming economy in BRIC countries has led to higher disposable income for average consumers, they are becoming more and more sophisticated in terms of purchasing behavior and aspirations.

The BRIC Project intends be the reference point for insights on BRIC youth culture and consumer behavior. Our collective findings will empower international brands and marketeers with coherent information in order to perpetuate the conversation at high level.

Considering the economical and cultural importance on a global scale, we seek not only to identify the aspirations of the BRIC youth, but also to understand how we can assemble a sustainable way of living with a low impact consumption.

Throughout our comprehensive research, which will include topics such as urbanity, global-citizenship, personal lives and technology, The BRIC Project will offer a range of products including a website, quarterly reports, books, conferences, exhibitions and a online community for like-minded.

Spanning five years, The BRIC Project will be the first collective mapping of the rising, young consumers of these four powerhouses. The project will be based upon a massive qualitative and quantitative field research and the results will be told through engaging information design, graphic design, photography and storytelling. For the clients, The BRIC Project will offer a range of products including a continuously updated website, quarterly reports, books, conferences, exhibitions and a online community for like-minded.

* The BRIC Project will simplify the marketeers’ search for vital and relevant information on the emerging markets by collecting qualitative and quantitative information and presenting them visually and easy accessible.

* The BRIC Project will save the marketeer money on market research, consumer insights and trend forecast by collecting all necessary information in one provider that offers overview, insight and applicable information.

* The BRIC Project will empower the marketeer with actionable information to successfully develop or customize products and expand to new markets by understanding the mindset of the young consumers. Thus our project, they will be able to build relationships with their consumers that is sustainable, endurable and profitable.
